Ok. I'll be honest. I've been spending alot of my recent time on deviantart, and have neglected to write updates on my dearest LJ. I know I've been preaching up and down that I would update much more frequently, and I feel terrible that I haven't been. I promise though that I will atleast try to redeem myself for all the time that's passed by. XD And with that, some minimal updates for now:

- Way beyond late to write a Fanime summary, but all in all it was a ton of fun, and it was especially great catching up with lots of friends I've missed. :)

- Bryan and I celebrated our 3 year anniversary way back in April. ♥ And seeing as its September now, clearly its been over 3 years. XD

- I uh... turned 24 in May. XD Had a wonderful night out on the town in San Francisco with the parents and Bryan, and it was grand.

- As I mentioned, been spending ALOT of time on deviantart, and although I've had my account for about a year, I've just recently started to actually put some stuff onto it. Obviously not too much to showcase quite yet, but there will be much, much more stuff I'll be updating frequently onto my page. :) Now that I've found some free time away from the school workload (despite classes started again soon... @_@), I've been inspired and re-inspired to focus on my art again, and it feels great. ♥

- Bryan and I are flying to Ohio sometime the end of this month for his sisters wedding! @_@ So excited!

- My happy and healthy little man Charlie is clearly living the good life with his organic food, bottled water, organic litter, laying out on the lawn chair under the bright sun daily, and treated to lots of tuna. ♥ More pics of him to come soon!

Any other updates? Hmmm... none that I can currently think of. :) If anything more comes to mind, I'll add to the post. I love you, my precious LJ. Please forgive my negligence. I'm back, and I'm here to stay. ♥

I grew up having nothing but the greatest memories of Michael and his music. What he brought to the world never can and never will be replaced. Today is my baby boys 1st birthday! A whole year old, it felt like just yesterday we brought him home :) Here's a shot of at him when we was only 11 weeks old.

Finally! Some breathing room away from finals to update this thing D: So much for my new years resolution to post entries more often eh!? I know I know... but hey, now that my work load is out of the way, I have no more excuses not to update. I have the rest of the year to make up for my lack of updates from the last 2 months, and I promise I will not disappoint!

So early February, Bryan and I took a trip up to the Monterey Bay Aquarium! It was a gorgeous day and the weather seriously couldn't have been better. Only shame is that I didn't charge the batteries for my camera long enough to take all the shots I wanted, but I did atleast manage to take quite alot :D Bryan also took pictures on his iphone, but hes on a business trip right now so I'll wait til hes back to add his pictures into the entry.

Once we got to the touching exhibit, I saw the cuuutest crab. She was so light and gentle, and according to the volunteer, she was pregnant with thousands of eggs.

Ok so... among my many new years resolutions is to update this journal more often. I've had my periods where I'm consistent with updates, then something either big or small disrupts my schedule and throws me off enough to where I lose track of certain things. I will not allow myself to further neglect the little things that are important to me. :)

As far as the rest of my resolutions, I of course have a huge list - though to put it simply, I just want an overall productive, fun, and memorable 2009. 2008 was filled with alot of ups and downs, as is the case with every year for most. Overall though 2008 was a good year, and ALOT of things both within myself and in general have changed for the better. Still though, I want to do much much more, and this year, I will make great things happen.

So, in better late than never, Happy 2009 to all, and I hope everyone's resolutions are successful. :)

P.S. Happy birthday Kie, Lily, and Wayne! Go eat all the cake you can find, and don't give a damn about the calorie count!

Wow I haven't made any real post in like almost 2 months XD I'll be honest, part of it was due to being busy, the other just pure laziness!

Halloween Haunt :D

Last weekend, Bryan and I went on over to Great America for the Halloween Haunt event. It was pretty fun, and having a big group of friends with us definitely made it even better! :D

All of Great America was turned haunted, and had a ton of people dressed in scary costumes trying to scare anyone who came into the park. The haunted houses were alot of fun too, and I especially loved going on rides late at night! What was even more cool was that since there weren't too many people at the park at that hour, we had 0 waiting time to get on any of the rides. XD Last ride we went on was the water ride which was also made haunted, which also turned out pretty good! We all got drenched XD

We got alot more misc Halloween stuff planned out with friends throughout the month, so definitely many pictures to come. Hell we're probably gonna go back to Great America too haha. Fun times!

Eeee for all the October anime! Huge list of things to watch but I'm on it all like a hawk :D

It's been a pretty laid back and relaxing week for me. Spent alot of time either reading business books or just watching anime lol. Classes start on Monday, and I had a job interview this week that went pretty well. I was also offered an interview for a Senior Administrative position at Sony being that they are looking for someone with Japanese / Administration skills. Here's to hoping! >_> Even if that doesn't fly, I got some other nice administrative offers on the side so I think things will work out soon. I took an online MS office test to see where my skills place as far as percentages (employers have access to see my scores too.) The average scores for most people lay along the 60-70% range or so I read. I placed 90%+ :D Which felt pretty good. Working full time during the day and having night classes might be a little more hectic than before (being that I've been working part time until now,) but I'm also pretty excited about it. Possible travel opportunities too :D Anticipating some phone calls in the next week or two!

God I can't wait for Vampire Knight Guilty to come out, I'm literally counting down the days <_> Chapter 43 was so damn good. Zero never fails to make me squeal <3 I'm so going to get the Zero bedsheets lol XD and AHHH I'm way too anxious for the DS game this december... its a dating sim OMG. UUGH and I'm hoping for some Zeki goodness in chapter 44. Can't wait!

Health crazy

I've always been an extremely health conscious person but lately I've been super crazy about it :o I've been picking up alot of health magazines, been working out even more than I normally do, and regulated my eating schedule to much healthier hours of the day. I don't like to eat anything past 6-7 PM anymore, I always make sure to have breakfast to boost my metabolism, and I've been keeping much better track of my calorie intake. I do feel guilty though that this last weekend I gave into alot of temptations >_> Like I kinda binged on Pocky and a ton of other chocolatey goodies. Guess no more treats for a while T_T I always lose to temptation at Mitsuwa lol. Despite the treat binging though I've been feeling really good lately. Because of the small adjustments I've mad in my daily diet, so many things have improved. I'm not as tired or fatigued during the day, my skin feels even more amazing, and I'm overall feeling much healthier inside and out. I feel like I can run a marathon right now! I got my legs waxed today too so I'm ready to roll XD lol

Haha ok, I know I'm like a billion years too late... but I'm just NOW becomming obsessed with Pokemon Diamond and Pearl... >_> lol I can't put my DS down. It's all Bryans fault! I'm trying to catch them all now!! >< hur hur.

I also mentioned before about my recent pink obsession, which lead me to get a pink DS! I didn't want to pointlessly get a second DS but cause Bryan always uses it too, we got tired of hogging it from each other XD So we just went out and got a pink one for me. And a pink Xbox controller yay!!

Chrono Trigger DS!

I was going to post about it early this morning but I was almost late to work so I had to run! I'm SO excited beyond words! I can't waaaaait!

I've been on a pretty big high for the color pink lately >_> Virtually everything pink I've laid eyes on I've been wanting to buy. I was even going to go as far as buy another DS just to get the coral pink lol. I probably will this Friday!

Last night my mom drove Bryan and I for his company meeting in SF (took me as a guest) being held at the Microsoft headquarters, then afterwards all three of us went and hit up fisherman's Wharf for a really nice but kinda late dinner. We then took a nice stroll through the streets and it just totally made my night. The weather was perfect, the setting was perfect, the mood was perfect, everything was just perfect! I had a great time even though we didn't get to do too much. San Francisco never fails to steal my heart every single time XD

Being that my uncles kittens were in desperate need of homes, and my heart has been longing to love again... I decided to take him up on his offer, and Bryan and I brought home a new 8 week old baby boy :) I named him Charlie! I felt it suited his incredibly sweet yet feisty personality. I just somehow knew the moment that I laid eyes on him that he was the one for me... I immediately fell in love. He is so gorgeous... his hazel eyes are to die for.

Charlie's first time sitting at the window :) It's hard to tell but right below is the cute little kitten tree we got him!

I've also been babysitting Charlie's brother for my cousin, whom we chose to temporarily name Petee. Like his brother he too is so so affectionate, its hard not to fall in love with him. It does break my heart a little knowing that I can't have them both (party pooper mom wont let me have more than one til I get my own place ><,) I'm atleast happy knowing that Petee will be going to a wonderful and loving home too.

I know deep down... that Kitty would be happy and supportive of my choice. Like I had said before - not only will she always be my one and only, but she will forever be my guardian angel, and will always always be a tremendous part of me no matter what happens. Here's to the start of a new chapter in my life, and to the start of what I know will grow into a beautiful love and friendship for many many years to come. Many more pics to share soon :)

This whole week has been amazing :D After what seemed like forever of dealing with the distance, Bryan has finally moved out here! I can't even begin to list the great feelings going through me right now. To put it simply, I'm extremely happy XD Here's to no more painful partings and instead more wonderful days spent together <3 Oh and yea, April 18th marked our 2 years! Go us!

Fanime was overall pretty laid back this year but was also a ton of fun. I unfortunately didn't get to participate in the karaoke contest since I virtually had 0 time to do so given I had loads of things to sell at the swap meets, but that's ok - I'll participate next time~ What made up for it was that I sold almost all of my things and collected approx $460 :D So I'm not complaining too much! Thanks to Bryan also for helping me sit through hours of the swap meets. It was also great to see/spend time with friends, and run into the people whom I haven't seen in a while!

More to post next time! Too lazy to type out the rest atm XD

P.S. Bryan and I also got a 360 and Wii together this week! Finallyyyy :) I'll post our code for brawl tomorrow or somethinggg~

As much as I really enjoy my full schedule I have to say that things have been pretty hectic lately @_@ It's great and all but yea, I've been busy busy. I got 2 midterms tomorrow and thursday too... oh boy. Well atleast the week will end nicely with the birthday plans coming up :) Really looking forward to that. So many more things to lay out but I'll leave that for my next entry, my bed is calling me~~~

So last Saturday my mom and I went to my uncles house to see the kittens! I completely melted ;; They were sooo adorable. They were only a few days old, so naturally they spent the entire time bundled up together sleeping. Until their sweetie mommy Didi arrived for feeding time!

I immediately became attached to them all, though I'm really not certain if I'll be adopting any of them. I feel that I probably do still need some time to recollect myself, however there is quite a possibility that I may be adopting another cat sometime in the next few months if not later. Nothing is certain though so we'll see! I'm in no hurry to rush things. I will be however going to check up on the babies periodically and I'll of course make sure that each of them are adopted into good homes at the very least :)

So the forbidden occurred and Rita had to miss the Crisis Core launch day at the Metreon *GASP*, but hey work is work and life is life! All has been going great and this last week I've been feeling rather productive. Classes start in about 2 weeks and I'm looking forward to see how evening classes work out. I was reluctant at first to try this schedule out but then I figured its only gonna be like 3 months and keeping my current work schedule (weekends off of course!) serves to be more counter productive :D I could always just go back to my regular work/school routine too if it doesn't work out to my liking~

Aannnddd so continuing to grow is the massive pile of crap I reaaaally need to sell. I have literally a giant case of Manga that needs to go D: and many other misc goods. Hurry up Fanime!

I've been on a HUGE Rockman, Mario, and Sonic high the last few days. Literally. Espeeeeeeecially Rockman <3, its been a while since I've played any of the old stuff. I don't think this high is gonna wear out anytime soon :x Old school for life!

And speaking of which, last week I found a mumbo jumbo stack of Sonic comics I collected from when I was a kid... surprised I still have them lol. Too many things piling up that I need to sell >_> Fanime swap meet perhaps!

The last few days I spent alot time completely revamping my closet and drawers from the old stuff that I'm just not wearing anymore. Ooooh it felt so refreshing clearing all that space out. Another excuse to go on another spree next weekend :D Not that I wasn't going to anyway haha.

Amazing for a fan made project... I would have loved to play this ;_; Too bad they had to put a stop to it.

So normally my weekly gym routine would be like 2-3 days a week, but lately I've been so energized that almost everyday I'm hitting the gym- in addition to my usual jogs or hikes up in my favorite trail. I've been feeling so great the last 2 weeks :) and I'm LOVING the cardio classes since the new instructor has come in. He really gets the class pumped up.

Waiting on my slow poke cousin to get off work then its off to the gym again.
